Heel veel Lennon-covers voor het goede doel

We hoeven natuurlijk niet uit te leggen wat voor een briljante liedjesschrijver
John Lennon was. De samenstellers van een compilatie vol covers van de Beatle,
waren daarom genoodzaakt een dubbelalbum uit te brengen aangezien heel veel
artiesten mee wilden werken.

De reden voor het verschijnen van het album met de titel Instant Karma is echter
minder vrolijk. De ondertitel The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur
zegt hierbij meer dan genoeg. De opbrengsten van de albumverkoop zal dan ook
gaan naar de hulpbehoevende bevolking in deze Sudanese provincie. Een reden te
meer om dit album blind aan te schaffen als deze op 12 juni in de winkels zal
liggen.
Ook de tracklisting liegt er niet om, de top van de muziekwereld voert hun
eigen versie van de wereldberoemde nummers uit:
